Lanterns Path was born from a deep belief that every person deserves to be held with dignity, presence, and love at the end of life.
How Lanterns Path began
Our path to this work began long before we had a name for it. We sat with many people that were in their final weeks, holding their hand through the long nights, and realized that what they needed most was not medical intervention — it was presence. Someone to witness their life, to ease their fears, and to remind them that they were not alone.
That experience changed us. We began seeking out training, reading, and community — and eventually found the world of death doula work. We completed our certification and have since supported dozens of families across Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, through some of the most tender and sacred passages of their lives.
Lanterns Path is named for that image — a lantern held out in the dark, not to chase away the darkness, but to make it navigable. To help you find your footing, one step at a time.
