Advance Directives
An advance directive is a legal document that records your healthcare wishes if you become unable to speak for yourself. It may include a living will, a healthcare proxy designation, and a POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) form. Having these in place is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family.
The Five Stages of Grief
Grief is not linear. While the five stages model (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) offers a framework, most people move through grief in their own way and on their own timeline. There is no right way to grieve — only your way.
What Is a Good Death?
A good death looks different for everyone. For some it means dying at home surrounded by family. For others it means having their values honored, their pain managed, and their story witnessed. Our work is to help you define what a good death means for you — and to help make it possible.
Legacy and Memory Work
Legacy work is the practice of capturing what matters most — stories, values, letters, and memories — so they can be passed on. It can take many forms: recorded conversations, written letters, memory books, or meaningful rituals. It is never too early to begin.
